Are we talking about nett or gross? Cos 10k a month you'll only take home 8K. After paying your essential expenditures, you'll only be left with $3,000 to spend – you probably still need to ponder if you should buy the designer bag/furniture/ book business class tickets etc if you want. And that's just for singles only so i'll peg 10-12k as middle income.
Rich to me would mean you don't even have to think twice about buying anything luxurious for yourself, probably fly business class at minimum, don't even feel a pinch when you have to top up fuel for your super car. So Amanda's prediction of 25k would be closer to entry-level rich I feel.
Rich would be at least 50 – 75K a month as a single, 100k a month if you have a family
Personally, being rich is what house can you solo buy in Singapore. If you still take gahmen grants and subsidies, you still considered middle incomer. If youre not eligible, then youre entry level rich. ✌️
Amanda is right. $25K. So that you'll be rich enough to set aside 3k+ for mortgage, 2k each kid. 1.5k for car, 1k for helper and still have left over to invest for retirement and let your spouse stay home.
Comfortable or rich or rich rich or filthy rich? Lol. Cos i feel like theres different tiers of rich. I would absolutely love to never have to think about money again. Like theres no 2nd thoughts. I want, i get. And thats talking about buying multiple luxurious private properties, owning and buying over businesses, investing in whatever and not fearing about the losses etc. Thats rich to me – not having to worry about $.
After 20% deduction, paying car, housing loans, investment/retirement funds, health & life insurances etc and saving 20-30%… can live a comfortable life buying necessities but cannot anyhow spend on branded fashion bougie restaurants expensive hobbies
The person who said 12k a month, first thing she thinks of is how to spend 3k of it on things she wants. That's a poor person mentality, and what keeps one poor.

Super rich at 20K a month, dont be a delulu. that's just middle income. even if you add another 0 also barely entry level rich.
Earn 10K no social life. Its shows you don't have such friends because they don't hang out with you.
Commenters with 2-4k a month 🖖 Get real
Making 10am today is not a lot
I do earn a decent high amount but honestly don’t feel rich.. To be rich and comfortable, not HNW, just affluent it’s around 30k a month.

After CPF and Income tax deduction, it’ll be back to four digital hun

To be honest my monthly pay is $700. I put some to savings some to eating and some to those needed money outside.

watching this actually feel a bit sad, TSL didn't pay much until 7-10k already said as "high"
It depends what currency we are talking about. It also depends on the cost of living where you live. This is roughly 96K a year.
I was HR for HR staff in my company. One of my bosses made $50K a month. Imagine that.

Super super rich is like $1-$2 million a month. Ultra rich is like $10m+ income per month.
10k a month in singapore is like upper middle at most
I earn >$10k per month but I’m still struggling bruh. Kids are expensive
10k a month is hand to mouth situation for foreigners…. Need to earn 15k or more to run a family in sg
Amanda nailed it!
CC: TSL HR, pls give some people here a raise. 😂😂😂
