I think almost all people are in miserable jobs. That's why they think about retirement. Anyone who loves their job, and is good at it won't retire for sure. And along with that, goes the theory of having a golden parachute. So in the wise words of baba Ranchoddas, "search for excellence, paisa zhak marke aayega".
Bro the problem is you did wrong calculation, he said by 50, and you took it 8 years, it should supposed to be 18years because he just 32.. it would become 4.32cr @financewithsharan

You retire by 50, health care being good you will live up to 80 ish. What will you do for 30+ years? My dad is losing interest after retirement, and it's only been 8 years.
Bro I have a grate plan for this guy He is saving 30k a month If he is doing the step up sip of 10% every year with tha same 30k With same 12 %returns for 18 years he would probably get (4,32,43,990) Which 4.32cr . If he is doing swp after his retirement age (50) it will be more perfect
The earlier you start, the more time your money has to grow. But it's wild to think that a smaller amount invested early can beat a larger amount invested later.
I just turned 48 and awfully late to investing with barely any portfolio except my 401k, I have a decent amount of cash saved up and with inflation currently soaring AGAIN, Iβm getting worried about retirement, my intention is to retire at 60. How best do I maximize my savings of over $200k

He says he needs 60mqc for expenses. And saving 20k per month from 1.1 lakh. Basic math mismatch.

How come 8 years??
Whats the use of all these finance gyaan , at the end to become rich u increase ur income only
Bro also calculate inflation
If you can't invest , go trade
Unrealistic expectations with unrealistic calculations
