I don't know of anyone who actually follows the tech behind AI who wasn't expecting a drop like this at some point. US AI companies ramped up the first thing that worked without bothering to make it more efficient. They're expensive to run and use so much energy and data because their tech is basically a crude blunt force object. I hope this does drive them to pursue efficiency. But regardless, people gonna still need chips.

You sold me on SCHD months ago, and that's been lauded by many others. Added some SCHG and I have had S&P covered in my 401K. I'm glad to know and now use the 3 ETF strategy. It sure calms the nerves dealing with the emotions of the market.
I still believe technology will continue to be the driving force for the next 10 years or more. We live in a world so independent on tech.
