I would stop applying for jobs and create one. I've been doing it for all my career life. Don't be so nice to the interviewer, talk to the point, assert your desire. Research the company, look at their trade magazines. If you ever get stood up for an interview tell them that's OK, ask for the VP by and congratulate him on a recent company success. I once had a billionaire CEO come out and I said Im glad to see you, companies doing great. Let's get some lunch. We did, fried cod and killer okra. I got a healthy one year contract. Be bold.
This new technological disruption era asks for clear focus. Thank you for the summary of the AI skills.. I am going to focus on prompt engineering. I am 51 now and it is more realistic to focus on that. No use to focus on programming with a little experience in programming.
You are really wrong….I built my first computer at 16 and a couple of robots in my 60s. I’ve had an excellent career and now I can’t get a job even though I have AI skills. It is sick making!,,
