Appreciate these tips!!
Hey man!!! You're great but underrated
Best tip to save:
Wait 10 years for it to become cheap
Hey! One tip you forgot to mention is buy 2nd hand! Even though sometimes it's a pain to get good stuff from a 2nd hand dealer, if you are patient enough and smart enough you can get some great deals!
1:09 Hey man
You were right. Many of these tips don't apply to us Asians 😀 But it's still a good video! I'm amazed by so many new facts I've just learned about the US haha
Jimmy you're talking yourself down. It's a 12 minute video, if someone doesn't click off right away, they'll probably watch most of it, because you go into necessary details, and not just talk about random unrelated stuff.
Be wary of how much you can KEEP instead of how much you SAVE
Know how you are going to use the item you're planning to buy. If you're not even going to use the features of a high end, flagship device, then maybe you should just buy the lower tiered ones. For example, I rarely take photos with my smartphone, so I dont mind missing out on the fanciest cameras whenever I have to replace my phone. I'm not going to pay premium for something I would rarely or never use.
This is such a good video for tip saving. Especially when you see trends happening
Like your videos and method of presentation. The way I personally save money on gadgets and accessories is to wait a couple of months after they are released and buy a 'used one'. They usually work pretty well and are most of the time still under warranty. And by the way some if the tips you shared in this video would work in India too. Keep up the good work.
Biggest tip on saving money (especially if you have a moderate channel): Ask for products to review. I've been approached by countless companies to review their product and I always give an honest opinion of it. More often than not, those videos perform well, generating me income to buy other products, too!
Hi Jimmy! I'm a BIG fan of your videos! I sell projectors on amazon and i'd really like you to review my projectors! I tried to reach out but i didn't find your email address. Lemme know if you are interested, thank you!
So basically, only browse sites that do discounts around seasonal events: mostly black friday or around christmas. Yeah… looks like ill get a new laptop late this year.
If you’re a airline mileage hoarder, keep your favorite stores in ‘favorites’ and keep email notifications on. One day Alaska Mileage Shopping had a 5 miles/$ special on Apple products, so I got my Apple Refurbished $4000 MBP in that special and came out with 20,000 miles! Add to that 3% cash back on the Apple Card, and you can say I hacked the system pretty well! 😁
Lol I was surprised you didn’t say “this doesn’t work for the PS5 because… well… 2021.”
Don't buy a gaming headset. Buy a good headphone and a good microphone instead.
Sony WH-1000XM3 + Vmoda BoomPro mic will create best ANC gaming headphone you will ever have! One of the best ANC headset + one of the best gaming microphone on the market for under 250 usd. You could go for the XM4 model if you have some extra money.
Good content
My biggest money saving tip is get anxiety and become cripplingly indecisive, if you never decide what to buy, you will never buy the item or spend money. It works sorta great for me, i never waste money like this, unfortunately, anxiety.
Quite useful video. Thanks
Wow I do all of these things lol.
For gift cards use slide/raise. Also get comfortable buying slightly used or refurbished products. I got the wh1000xm3 in basically brand new condition from eBay for $100. It was missing the USB and 3.5mm cable but those are easily found elsewhere for cheap
I didn't know 9 was even possible… I'm not gonna try it, but still it's interesting.
At least in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland there's a site called Swappie that sells used (refurbished if needed) iPhones with a warranty. I got a 64 GB 12 Mini from there that was completely spotless—might as well have been new—for $240 off of MSRP when combined with a $11.50 coupon code I found online. A more general tip would be to see if there's a similar firm for what you're shopping after. In my case, the only differences were a different box, a USB-A to Lightning cable, and it being much cheaper
If Honey didn't sponsor this, they missed a perfect opportunity!
Love these tips 👏🏻 I always do my best to save as much money as possible
Make sure you add "Reddit" to any Google search for specific advice. Not even kidding, Reddit has some amazing communities for every topic
You neglected to mention that nearly all of those rewards programs track and sell your data. I have had a surge in solicitation phone calls every time I've signed up for a rewards program, so use a fake phone number!
Every month to every other month, Amazon will run a promotion where if you buy a $100 gift card, they give you $10. If you know 100% you are going to keep buying things on Amazon, it's not a bad deal. Think of it as pre-paying for future orders you don't know about yet with a free $10.
Take care of your stuff, look after the boxes and the item should hold some nice value.
Amazon warehouse is amazing (especially during Black Friday / Amazon day, when they have an extra 10-20% off)
Follow subreddits with PC / part deals in, when you hit a sweet website glitch and get a part super cheap it feels great.
Ask yourself two Qs if the answer is no don’t buy: will I use it? is it worth it? Also if your not sure if you’ll need it wait until the next day ✌️
My favorite method of saving money is browsing Amazon for items I'd want to buy, and then turning off my PC and going to sleep.
I was surprised when you reached 10. All the tips transitioned into each other
Just yesterday i was wondering why haven't you uploaded in a while and here you are. Great video as always👍🏼👍🏼
Hi Jimmy, Amazon Warehouse has great options for Open-box and close to like new used items as well especially with tech products.
I love your Vids. They are very helpful! ❤️
Your are underrated….
