My emotions had me file for bankruptcy after I had paid 15k in debt 7 years ago and brought it right back up to 35k from impulse to feel better after my divorce going on 6 years ago😩. Now I dismissed the bankruptcy that’s still going to stay on my record for 7 years and pay my creditors back IN FULL. Fml. Welp, I really miss the 800 club. Js I hope I get there again before 45 😑
I like to use secured credit. This requires capital to have. While you're money is making interest you can use a secured line of credit to pay off debt. or use in case of emergencies.
The credit card culture in the US is so unfortunate. In most other countries, you start out with a full or balanced credit score, and the score is rather affected by your own actions; in the U.S., you start off at the bottom and you’re forced to buy things on credit in order to “prove” your way up.
