How about taking a Personal Locator Beacon that costs you $600+ and will alert emergency services if you are lost or injured somewhere remote, and adding a monthly subscription so the device wont work if you haven't paid…looking at you Garmin 👀
I keep just having less and less shit because of this. I make like 4x what I made four years ago and I live worse now than I did then. Had to cancel my gym membership because with all the weird fees and bullshit it’s actually cheaper to just work out at home
