1k a month isn't enough
Dang wish I knew this back in my 20s so I can make it grow bigger slowly ..
what app can i use to buy these dividend
If u have $169k ur not investing it in at&t for dividends. This is dumb
I had math teachers like this back in jr high school.
So I have to invest a large amount of money to get a small amount back 🤔
It’s set up for the wealthy. Not the average person. There’s your answer. By they way your can’t take your investment out with out a capital gains tax. So ya. Pass.
All you can do then is to just divide your passive income by dividend yield in decimal to get your number.
Step 1: Spend 5k a month to get 1k a month. 😅
Or 12000/.07 (the dividend yield)
really goodman
You have to have money to make money. Now make a video for the poor to make a real impression or cgange in their lives.
just invest $96,912 in LFGY, ULTY, YETH, MSTY and you end up with $5,459.69. That's my dividends for July. I would rather risk 96k vs 169k.
At that point just get a CD with a high yield. Maybe make $100 less a month with no risk of principle loss and be federally insured.
When the Math essay needs to be at least 500 words. 😂

Have some empathy for people hardly making ends meet despite all the hardwork. The way you're sitting and talking is like so proud.
Or I can just keep my $170K
First, you need money
This post has two parts: shares needed calculation, then actual cost to invest for desired dividend calculation. <<<There's a math error: its (0.0701, not 0.071)>>>
100k in jepq will do it
JEPQ is one of my original holdings and has been a solid monthly producer for years – great update and thanks for your all your work.
Buys $170k worth of dividend stock
Stock tanks -30%
Petrotal Corp. Low debt, solid assets. Strong bullish
Right, it's really easy to make $1,000 per month if you have a a lot of money haha. Now that you can calculate how much money you need, the big question is: where are you going to get the $169K?
or just invest in a high yield savings at 5%, you get more back lol
thats… alot less than i thought
As someone who doesn't understand stocks, if the stock price changes, would this change the dividend payout?
Wait, what if you took about a loan for this??? Invested it all into this stock and then give the money back to the bank and keep the extra!
Great. Now teach these maths to the market so it keeps mathematically stable for the whole year.
Never buying dividend stocks more than 6%
That's not simple
What if by the time you get all those shares AT&T disappears 😂
So it’ll basically take around 14 years to break even from your initial investment?
Wtf is the point
Oh I wish I had 169K to be able to collect 1K in dividends per month. In the meantime, I need to keep on working my 9-5 job.
You can not assume you will get that amount of money every month because dividend price changes over time and because that 7% is above dividend average price in top 100 stocks on the market, that means it's more likely to decrease in the future.
If you can't do this simple math, then I doubt if you should be investing in the first place…
There are far cheaper stocks that also pay 10%-17% of dividends reducing the price needed greatly. I am in a few of them and I have a stock thats paying 11cents per share . That I've been with for years and I only needed half of what this guy is showing. This guy makes it seem hopeless and not worth it.
He’s quoting the Bible then saying don’t trust it
Awesome video man. It’s hard trying to find bare bones math videos for this stuff. everyone just explains the terminology
TY ❤
Ah
Simple! Oh wait… simple when I’ve a spare $170k 🤨
So many smart investors..all missing the point of the video 😮😅
literally anyone be on youtube these days
