I could bore more with all this but just a few key takeaways. 1.Don’t finance anything except maybe a house. 2. Have some type of budget. 3. Have a emergency only savings account. 4. Pay off all debt, starting with smallest and don’t ever add to your debt. . 5. Retire early!!!!!😂

Such a great speaker. His investment methods are not based in reality or are very effective but he is an amazing speaker and motivator.
My problem about people is that lm retired on SSI and a small pension and because l saved they think l have a huge amount of Money. Family and friends think l am good for a handout. A friend l had for 22 years whom l had to live with after l divorced because my son who was living in my house with his friends would not let me back in. After all was said and done l lost my relationship with him because l wanted my home back. Every time l spoke with him he assumed l had a ton of money stored somewhere which was not the case. I've finally decided that the next time he brings up money l am going to hand him my written budget abd debt.
I love working 8 to 4:30. When my work day is done . I like to smoke weed and play games, watch movies, and cook. I'm not religious and I don't want kids . None of this applies to me.
That was really good. We do some of his teachings and he’s right you got to have a E-fund along with an investment fund. You have to. We save 100 a month for the E-fund and 350 for investment. It’s not much but it’s something.

Dave, I use credit cards like cash. My dad taught me to only by necessities on time never luxuries. Anyway, he siad never charge more that you can pay when the bill comes. I have stuck to this and it works for me. You mentioned, but what about airline miles. Well, I don't worry about that but I do get cash back ranging from 2% to 5%. This is free money in my eye and it costs me nothing. What do you tell people like me who pay the card off every month and get cash back?
