    I think the problem is the car salesman has no pricing authority…..he needs to check with a "manager" for any price changes….it's hard to work that way when you need to keep going into the back room to see what you can do

    There’s a huge percentage that will never close for all the money. And telling people we use an algorithm to get you the best price in 500 miles is not smart if that person will do any actual research. So this ego is probably losing people more deals than getting them. Being a closer who will give the client a deal if necessary is much better

    I just tell people the car dealership has to hold some gross valie to pay employees and keep the lights on like any other business. I dont understand why people dont ealk into best buy and ask for a better price on a tv and then into mine and do it

    Is this training only for volume stores? If your store is the best price how hard is it to tell the customer? What if you’re not the best price and have to hold gross?

    Andy Elliott testified as a witness for the Federal Government against his long-time friends and business partners. 🐀 Andy (as the trainer, manager and GM) admits (under oath and the threat of perjury) to a whole list of crimes over a period of OVER A DECADE (up until 2019). He has since left retail and instead started his own sales training company – where he’s now in an industry that’s not regulated or monitored for fraud, lies and deceit. He can make any claims about his company, his revenue, his client sizes, etc. AND NOW, no one can regulate his words or verify what he claims.

    The only industry that you can negotiate below invoice…dealerships buried themselves to the bottom of a grave…and they are still proud that they sold…hundreds of vehicles with no marginal gross. If it wasn't because of parts, service and the body shop…no one of us salespeople would be working in sales at a dealership. Those departments are the real money makers.

    Let's stop being delusional…if Andy and the market would allow this, he would own several dealerships by now…and he doesn't because he knows that what I am telling you is the truth.

    I’m not in car sales but a consumer. Haggle free pricing is nothing but BS. If car is still available 2-3 weeks later price will be lower then even lower if still available 4-5 weeks later. just have to be patient.

    I like a lot of this stuff. The issues I have is with the lying…"the best price system and having it be 20,000 two months ago" that's just factually not true…so I am having issues adopting that. Are we just learning to lie to take advantage of peoples belief of our story? It's not actually serving the customer it's serving ourselves. Any insights?
