Is that foreward or trailing dividend rate? Sometimes the advertised yield isn't accurate.
The most accurate way is to take the actual dividend and multiply it by the number of shares.
ZMMK's dividend is advertised at 4.68% but when you take the actual dividend and divide it into the price you get a full percent lower payout. And that's a money market fund where the unit value is always within a few cents of $50.
This is not an invesment lesson, this is just a 3rd grade multiplication/division math.
Companies with over 20% dividends are likely no good. They can stop giving them, they can go under, it's too unreliable..
