How Much Money Can I Earn with Pawns.app?
What is Pawns.app?
You might have heard of apps like Swagbucks and Toluna, well, Pawns.app is in the same vein of money making apps. However, it adds an extra competitive advantage: there’s a leaderboard where, each week, top users could win an extra $300, as well as other unique earning opportunities.
And don’t fret about the dollar sign – Pawns.app is available in 190 countries, including (of course) the UK. This app has a great track record, too. In 2023, it paid out $3.8million to users with an average daily earning for each user of $12.
How Do I Make Money on it?
This is a straightforward app that lets you earn extra cash on surveys, quests, games, and referral program. It’s completely free to use, so every pound (or dollar) you earn is yours – and it shows immediately on completion of a task in your account, too.
As soon as you’ve earned $5, you can pay out. This is much lower than most platforms like it, which have a minimum of at least $10 or more before you can get your hands on your funds.
There are two wallets in Pawns.app. The first is the earnings walls for all the things you do to earn through using the app, like installing and playing games, leaderboard bonuses, surveys, internet sharing, and quests. The second is a separate referral wallet, which earns from the referrals you make for others joining the app.
How Much Money Can I Earn with Pawns.app?
The Pawns.app website has a really handy calculator to see how much you could earn on a daily or weekly basis. There is, as with all these platforms, the caveat that the types of survey available to you will vary each week, as it depends on which partners are in need of your feedback.
For example, we completed three surveys in our testing experience. It didn’t take long, and was done while waiting for dinner to cook – which is usually empty doomscrolling time. According to the Pawns.app calculator, if we did this every day, we could take home around $21 extra a month. Not sure it sounds like much? Well, that’s $240 a year – around £190. Just for completing surveys for a bit each day – what else might you do while waiting for the kids to finish their football match, or while dinner cooks, or you’re waiting for your laundry to be done? Might as well make your scrolling worth your time!
And if you completed ten surveys every day, that’s $70 a month or $840 a year. The amount you earn will vary and you might be able to make a similar figure with regular surveys, referrals, playing games, and taking part in extra daily and weekly quests for boosts to your additional income, too.
Our Testing Experience
Our tester is a known anti-tech person. They are not big fans of it – which is why we wanted them to give it a go. They were able to easily download the app from the Apple Store from their iPhone, and sign up in a few minutes.
As soon as the app logs in, there is a chance to spin the wheel for a win – and you get one spin every 24 hours. Our tester landed on the only section without a prize, but knew they could try again tomorrow so it didn’t feel like much of a loss.
They chose not to select Share Internet, as they were on mobile data. However, they liked that you can earn passive income simply for sharing your internet and turned on the ‘WiFi only’ sharing option so they could start sharing when they were back on WiFi.
“The app is easy to navigate, and I could pick and choose which surveys I wanted to participate in. The colour coding of the survey type made it easy to pick them, too. I like that I can always earn a referral commission and have made sure some of my friends have the link to sign up! I am not a big gamer but installed a gentle meditative one called Forest Cleaner which will let me earn up to $16 – I liked that I could choose the games I wanted to play and could earn extra cash each time I played it when I had some downtime. It all adds up to solid potential earnings!”
The earnings from surveys, games, unused internet bandwidth and other above mentioned earning methods can be cashed out via many different ways. But we assume that the most well known ones would be PayPal, Venmo and Payoneer. It’s also worth mentioning that they offer tons of different gift cards, such as Amazon gift card, Visa Gift card and most of the others we could think of.
